At Scappoose Adventist parent involvement is a huge and important part of our success and in creating a community for our kids.

 

To encourage participation, we require that parents volunteer a minimum of 2 hours per parent in each household, each quarter:

• Two-parent households must volunteer 4 hours per quarter

• One-parent households must volunteer 2 hours per quarter

Other Details

• Grandparents, aunties etc. may volunteer in place of parent

• At the end of each quarter, non-completed service hours will be billed at a rate of $10 per hour and added to the school bill.

• All on-campus volunteers must complete a volunteer information form for a background check.

What Counts Toward Service Hours?

Many activities count for service hours, such as driving for field trips, serving hot lunch, grading papers for a teacher, attending the Home & School meetings etc.
