Exploring Nature: Our Field Trip to the Bird Sanctuary 🦜

Last April 3, we had the amazing opportunity to step out of the classroom and into nature with a field trip to the Bird Alliance Sanctuary—and what an unforgettable adventure it was!

This trip wasn't just about learning facts from books—it was about experiencing the beauty and complexity of God’s creation firsthand. While birds were the stars of the show, we also discovered that they share their ecosystem with a variety of other fascinating animals. From examining animal footprints to learning about different diets, we gained a deeper understanding of how each creature plays a unique role in the environment.

The highlight of the day? Definitely the hike. Surrounded by tall trees, the peaceful sound of the creek, and the fresh outdoor air, we were completely immersed in nature. Laughing and learning alongside friends made the journey even more special.

Before we wrapped up the day, we stopped by the gift shop, where many of us picked up small treasures to remember this amazing experience.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our dedicated teachers, parents, and guardians for making this day possible. Your support and presence made it all the more meaningful.

We came back with tired feet, full hearts, and a deeper appreciation for the world around us. Until the next adventure! 🌿🦉💚
